_{EDIT; So, I was going to tie her in with my other OC, Bianca, but that doesn't entirely fit with the circus, so I think that this will be a parallel universe, to the more "Fantasy" sort of world that Bianca is in.

So for this version of Tali, she will be in a normal universe. (Well, as normal as you can be with demons and magic and whatnot).
And Bianca's will be the fantasy one.

♦ N a m e : Tali Cauchemar (This isn't her real last name, her real name is Tali Sterling, but she goes by 'Cauchemar' or 'Nightmare' as a stage name.

♦ P e r s o n a l i t y : Tali has a double personality, just like her sister who she hasn't seen for a very long time. When she is off stage, she is quiet and polite, but very friendly. She enjoys spending time and even talking with the people she likes. She never talks about herself. She is always open to making new friends and talking to new people, making her seem a quite naive. Occasionally, she has moments where she appears really sharp.
On stage, Tali becomes a dark and sadistic character, taunting her audience, enjoying making them scared. She gets a twisted sense of humour while on stage, and can make small illusions of people, which she changes to look like audience members loved ones. She then makes them disappear in gruesome ways, causing fear for her watchers. This causes her great amusement, and she enjoys thinking up new ways to taunt her audience.

♦ H i s t o r y : Tali was born in Canada, two years after her older sister Bianca. Along with her parents, they lived happily until Tali was two and a half, when they moved to London, because of old promises that her father had made before he married Tali's mother. They lived in the more run-down part of London, and because not being the richest, they had to deal with their fair share of the underground. Despite this, Tali lived fairly boringly for the first ten years of her life, and got used to the idea of doing what was necessary to survive, and never talking to people who you didn't know, or could definitely trust.. When she was ten, her father was murdered, due to an old grudge held against him by a rival. For about six months, she lived with just her mother and sister. Tali still lead a mundane life, not that much had changed since her father had died, only that it wasn't as lively and there was no more openness within what was left of her family.

After that six months, some mysterious men in black hoods had taken Tali and her mother to another country, of the name, she was never sure. They had tried to take her sister as well, but she had run off. When they got there, Tali and her mother were separated, and she never saw her mother again. When she was alone, Tali was tortured - beaten, whipped, slashed. She felt that she would rather die. Another six months after that, her second personality surfaced. It had always been there, since birth, but her parents, knowing that double personalities ran in the family, had suppressed it, and it Tali had never experienced enough trauma to draw it out. However, the torturing had made her break - and her other self appeared.

This other self was not submissive, it was evil and had the ability to use illusions (but only of people). Tali used this to escape, from her prison, and was going to kill all of her torturers, however her normal personality stopped that. She ran away, and discovered Cirque-des-Reves, which had been close by at the time. Because of her double personality and interesting talents, they took her in, and she chose to become a Dark Clown. These days, she waits just in case one of her torturers happens to turn up at the circus, because then she has decided that she will return her pain to them tenfold.

Despite the trauma she had gone through, Tali managed to get her old personality back, and decided to reserve her darker side for performances. She trained to use her illusions, and now her normal personality can use them too. However, for some reason she can only make illusions of humans, and for this reason she doesn't use them too frequently in her performances, thinking that the audience may get bored.

She is still waiting for the day that either her mother or sister will turn up at the circus, so that she can be with them again.

• Tali has the ability to create illusions of people.
• Sometimes in her act, she will get an audience member to describe a loved one, and she will make an illusion of them. She will then 'kill' this illusion, just to see their reaction.
• She will often go around and try to make friends with everyone.
• She doesn't really agree with the competition between factions, and thinks that 'everyone should be friends'.
• Double personalities run in her family.
• Because she was never really allowed to socialize/talk to others when she was in London, she now takes all the opportunities to make friends that she can. She is always eager to spend time with new people.
