Ren is the sort of person who prefers to keep to himself, and to keep quiet. He only wants to live for his mother's dream, which is why he moved to the village. He enjoys his work a lot, finding solace in it, and because of this he immerses himself in it completely. This makes it difficult to get him to do anything while he's working. He also hates being interrupted.
It will take a long time to get him to like you, not for any particular reason, he just doesn't understand people, and he also hates himself. He is never sure if he's behaving correctly, and has all but given up on getting people to like him. He tends to prefer being by himself, because he knows that getting involved with others usually means trouble. He does open up to people eventually, especially if they are kind and helpful. He doesn't particularly hate rabbits any more than wolves, although he is still wary of them.
When he does eventually warm up to someone, he will be overly protective and somewhat clingy over that person. He's an all or nothing kind of guy.
He really loves nature, flowers especially. It is for this reason that he decided to become a florist. He often thinks of people who talk to him in terms of flowers. Annoying ones are weeds, and his close friends are beautiful flowers in full bloom.
He tries his best to not let his guard down, but it does happen occasionally, especially if he hasn't let it all out in a while. He tends to regret this later one. He very rarely lets himself get angry, or act on his anger. When he does - it's scary. He'll become very angry and aggressive, and won't hesitate to act on his impulses.
He has a habit of repressing his emotions, which sometimes causes them to overflow and outburst all at once. This embarrasses him terribly, and he wishes he could control himself better. Rather than letting himself show emotion little by little though, this makes him want to bottle up even more.

He used to live in the forest with his parents, who were considered a 'perfect couple'. However one day his father left without any warning, leaving his slowly ailing mother by herself. Ren was devastated - he had never seen it coming. This lead him to become more reserved. Even though his mother was very sick, she always smiled for Ren. She wished to move to the village - talking about about how she could live in comfort there with all the resources. She really wanted to move, but Ren insisted on staying in the forest, where the air was clearer. Still, she grew sicker, and when she eventually died, Ren decided to move into the village by himself, and live the life of comfort that his mother always wanted.
So he moved into the village to start a flower shop. Because he used to live in the forest, he has a good knowledge of flowers & plants, and where to find them. This means that his business has been fairly successful - at least enough to give him a better life than in the forest.
